Library still closed, offers new options

BLYTHEWOOD – The Blythewood Library continues to be closed to the public, but has announced the following expansion of services with minimal contact.

Expanded options are now offered for curbside pick-up for holds. Upon receiving notification that holds are ready for pick up, library patrons can access holds from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

In addition, remote printing is available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Upload documents through the library’s website and pick them up at the drive-thru windows or at curbside.

Free WiFi access also continues to be available at Blythewood and outdoor seating is available for WiFi users. Patrons are asked to wear face coverings and practice safe social distancing while using these public spaces.

Book drops for returned materials continue to be available. Dropped items are quarantined for 96 hours before being recirculated. One-on-one telephone assistance is available by calling the library from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
