BLYTHEWOOD – Westwood volleyball has hit a 2-0 win streak after wins over Dreher High School last Thursday and Irmo High School Tuesday.
The Redhawks took Dreher 3-0 with a tight 25-22 win in the first set, but blowout wins in the second and third. Westwood put down the Blue Devils 25-13 and 25-14 to take the win.
After taking Tuesday’s first set 25-20 over Irmo, the Yellowjackets squeaked out a 29-27 win over Westwood in the second set to even the match at 1. Westwood returned to take the third set 25-16 and an even better 25-14 fourth set.
Westwood is set to face Richland Northeast tonight at The Castle.
