FAIRFIELD COUNTY – The Blythewood-Ridgeway-Winnsboro Cookie Elves were at it again this Christmas, preparing gift boxes of homemade cookies for seniors and shut-ins in the three communities. For the tenth year, donning matching aprons, elves Terry Vickers, Jan Gregory, Phyllis Gutierrez, Norma Branham, Beth Collins, Barbara Ball (not shown) and Eddie Branham, center, the elves’ cookie delivery man, met the Sunday before Christmas at Branham’s home to fill about 75 gift boxes with seven varieties of homemade cookies and fudge. Then, this week, their driver (Eddie Branham) will deliver holiday cheer and the boxes of sweet treats.
