WINNSBORO – Fairfield Forward joined The Fairfield Community Food Bank, earlier this week, to dedicate a persimmon tree at the soon to be community garden at John A. Martin Primary Health Care Center. This tree is in memory of Mr. George Boulware. His wife Helen is a long time volunteer at the food bank.
“We look forward to watching this tree grow and provide fruit for the community, in honor of George,” said Dr. Mark Schaffer, a resident physician at the Center.
