Fairfield County Council on Aging is accepting resumes for a Community Development Director. This is a Full-time position with flexible hours.

Objective: The Community Development Director is the primary owner of efforts related to fund development and community engagement. The CDD works in partnership with the Executive Director, Board of Directors, and Community Volunteers to establish a robust network of support for FCCOA. The Community Development Director will be immediately responsible for generating an additional $75,000 in unrestricted support for FCCOA’s mission.

Responsibilities: The CDD will be responsible for Fund Development, Community Engagement, Communication, Administration within the organization.

Qualifications: 3-5 years of professional experience working in program coordination or sales/development, preferably with a nonprofit organization; Access to reliable transportation; Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include occasional evening or weekend obligations; Bachelor’s Degree preferred in business, public relations, public health, social work or the equivalent in professional experience.
