YORK – Fairfield Central lost a tough match to York l on Aug. 28 with a 3-0 final.
The Griffins dropped set one 6-25. They gained momentum in set two but lost a 17-25 final. Fairfield fought back in set three, but dropped a 23-25 final to the Cougars.
Fairfield was set to host Newberry on Wednesday, but scores were not available at press time.
