GREENBRIER – Girl Scout Troop 1110’s McKinley Yarborough built a Blessing Box for her Silver Award project, partnering with The Grieving Needs Foundation to make sure that those in the rural community of Greenbrier have a place to get free nonperishable food.

The box is located at Ebenezer A.M.E Church, 1108 West Peach Road and available to everyone in the community. This location is special to McKinley as her Grandmother Frankie Yarborough Johnson is a lifelong member of the church.

The box is maintained by the members of the church and The Grieving Needs Foundation. Anyone in the community is free to leave items or take what you need.
