WINNSBORO – With multiple job openings in the county government offices, Fairfield County’s Human Resources Director Brad Caulder says he’s putting out the welcome mat to attract good employees to the county.
He says he wants to get the word out about the exceptional benefits the county offers.

The county is currently seeking qualified applicants for the following full time positions:
- Administrative Assistant in the Tax Collector’s office
- Correctional Officer in the Detention Center
- Patrol Deputy in the Sheriff’s office
- Automotive Mechanic in the Transit Department
- EMT/Paramedics in the EMS
- Fire Inspector in Fire Service
- Maintenance Worker in the Building Maintenance Department
- Maintenance Worker in the Recreation Department
- Part-time jobs are available for a Recycling Attendant and a Chipper Operator in the Public Works Department
“We have multiple openings in EMS,” Caulder said.
Caulder said there are other job openings that will be filled internally.
