WINNSBORO – Fairfield Central opened their tennis, volleyball and cross country seasons earlier this week.
Griffin girls’ tennis and volleyball teams traveled to Chester on Wednesday for 5 p.m. matches. The cross-country team hit the ground in Chapin on Wednesday. Scores were not available at press time.
Volleyball hosts Richland Northeast tonight (Aug. 25) at 5:30 p.m. Next week they will host CA Johnson on Aug. 29 and Chester on Aug. 31.
The cross-country team will run in at Chester against Clover, Lake Pointe, Lewisville and Riverwalk on Aug. 30.
Girls tennis will play again on Sept. 7 at Lugoff-Elgin.
