Sallie Sharpe wins green award

BLYTHEWOOD – Blythewood’s Sallie Sharpe was recently presented with the 2022 Green Business Award by the Environmental Education Association of South Carolina.

Board member Jane Hiller presented the award to Sharpe at her shop, Sal’s Ol’ Timey Feed and Seed at 113 Hilltop Drive in Columbia.

Sharpe is a seventh-generation homesteader who pours her gardening knowledge into her store which offers gardening classes, monthly garden subscription boxes, heirloom and non-GMO seeds, gardening consultations and more.
