Attention Voters: SC general election is Nov. 8

Early Voting will begin on Monday, Oct. 24, 2022 through Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022. (Closed on Sundays) Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Any voter can visit the early voting center in their county and vote like they would at their polling place on election day. Voters will be asked to present Photo ID when checking in to vote.

Early Voting for Fairfield County will be held at the Voter Registration & Elections Office at 315 S. Congress St., Winnsboro, SC 29180.

Early Voting for Richland County will be held at the Voter Registration & Elections Office at 2020 Hampton Street, Columbia, SC 29204.

You can still vote absentee by mail, but some laws have changed. You can see these changes at SCVotes.gov or call 803-635-6255 (Richland) or 803-635-6255) or come by your voter registration office for more information or to get the absentee by mail process started.

To avoid delays at the polls, prepare now.

Check your registration status, change your address if you have moved be sure to bring a photo ID with you to vote.
