WINNSBORO – Fairfield County’s Souper Bowl of Caring 2025 campaign benefiting the Fairfield Community Food Bank kicked off last week and will culminate with the Super Bowl on Feb. 9.

Fairfield County has enthusiastically participated over the past several years, with student teams, community groups, congregations, and individuals taking to the field to support the Fairfield County
Food Bank’s mission of easing food insecurity among county residents.

“The Souper Bowl of Caring’s food drives and fundraisers really bring our community,” says Wendy Luce, executive director of the Fairfield Community Food Bank. “Through our community’s generosity we’re able to restock our pantry shelves and buy meat and dairy items for an entire month.”

To participate in the Souper Bowl of Caring, look for a food drive or fundraiser at your church, school, or local shops and drop off your donation.

If you’d like to host a food drive or fundraiser, the Souper Bowl of Caring provides many resources to help you.
