Westwood boys move to 12-0

COLUMBIA – Westwood boys basketball moved to 12-0 on the season with its most recent wins in the Cavalier Showcase at Richland Northeast High School last week. 

The Redhawks faced J.L. Mann on Friday afternoon, then played South Aiken on Saturday. They downed both teams by a 17-point margin.

Bryson Hardy led the Redhawks with 16 points in the 68-51 win over South Aiken. Drayton Cockfield had 12 points and four rebounds; Larry Brown had 11 points. 

Westwood enters into region play tomorrow when they host cross-town rival Blythewood High School. They will travel to Ridge View on Monday, Jan. 6. Tipoff for both games is set for 7:30 p.m.
