FAIRFIELD COUNTY – Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church congregation wore red on Sunday Feb. 2 in recognition of Women’s Heart Health.
Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church members participate each year in February by wearing red and distributing information regarding keeping the heart healthy.
The church’s Healthy Living Ministry aims to raise awareness within the congregation and community about heart disease, which is the leading cause of death in women. During February, the church encourages women to take steps to protect their cardiovascular health.
