BLYTHEWOOD – Westwood girls’ soccer moves to 6-8 on the season after a 1-0 win at Sumter on Tuesday.
Sophomore London Hudson scored one in the first half, and the Redhawks held on to finish the shut-out and take the 1-0 win over the Gamecocks.
Now 2-5 in 5A Region 5 play, Westwood will face region-leading Blythewood on Friday at Blythewood High School. Game is set to begin at 7 p.m.
