
BLYTHEWOOD – The Redhawks softball team (4-10, 3-2) dropped a doubleheader at Saluda Saturday, but rebounded with a 13-1 victory over the Vikings Tuesday night.
The Tigers beat Westwood 15-0 in the first game and 13-7 in the second game, in which Ella Griffin went 2-for-3 and Azaria Belton doubled.
Against Spring Valley, Annarea Wilson pitched four innings and struck out six. She also hit a double. Belton went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI. Griffin also doubled and drove in two runs. Taylor Blevines also had two RBI.
Westwood’s softball team plays at Spring Valley tonight and at Lugoff-Elgin Tuesday.
