The Columbia Alumni Chapter’s Kappa League is a youth leadership program designed to cultivate the talents and character of young men through educational, occupational, and social guidance. Its mission is to develop foundational skills in preparation for leadership.

“These young men are not only excelling on the field, but they’re also setting an example off the field,” said Darion Breland, co-chairman of the Columbia Alumni Chapter. “Their commitment to growth and service is exactly what our community needs.”

As the 2025–2026 school year begins, Breland said these students are already proving to be role models among their peers.

“Their participation in Kappa League signals a dedication to becoming leaders who will shape the future of their schools, neighborhoods, and beyond,” said Breland. “We are proud to stand behind them as they rise to meet the challenge of leadership.”
