OGDEN, UT – Fairfield County’s own Shamieka B. Johnson Sims has been crowned International Super Ms 2025 at America’s SUPER Pageant, held in Ogden, Utah. The only contestant from South Carolina, Sims stood proudly and walked away with the highest overall score, securing the coveted international title.
For a small-town girl from Winnsboro, Sims says this victory marks not only a personal milestone but also a shining moment for Fairfield County.
With 10 years of pageant experience, Sims has competed and served in various roles across the pageant world. She says she always strives to use the stage as a platform for impact and change.
Throughout her reign in the coming year, Sims will promote the national platform of Seat Belt Safety—“Buckle Up!” which raises awareness about road safety and the importance of wearing seat belts. She will also continue to champion her personal platform through the Grieving Needs Foundation, a nonprofit she founded that focuses on homelessness and hunger awareness.
“This win is proof that small-town girls with big dreams can achieve incredible things,” Sims said. “I’m honored to represent Fairfield County, my state, and now the international community as I use this title to bring hope, safety, and resources to those who need it most.”
The America’s SUPER Pageant is an annual international competition that brings together contestants from across the United States and around the world. The pageant emphasizes community service and leadership, with the official platform centered on seat belt safety and the importance of buckling up.
