WINNSBORO – It may be Halloween weekend, but some say it’s never too early to start thinking about the holiday season. Registration is now open for the 2025 Winnsboro Christmas Parade, set for Sunday, Nov. 30, in downtown Winnsboro.
Families, community groups, and businesses are invited to participate with floats or vehicles decorated in cheerful Christmas or winter themes. There’s no fee to participate, but entries must be registered by Wednesday, Nov. 26. Anyone who registers after the deadline will be placed at the end of the parade lineup.
Organized by the Fairfield County Chamber of Commerce, the parade will begin at 4:30 p.m., traveling south along Congress Street from Evans to Moultrie streets. According to the Chamber, throwing candy is not allowed for safety reasons.
Registration forms can be submitted in person at the Fairfield County Chamber of Commerce (229 S. Congress St.), by mail to P.O. Box 297, Winnsboro, SC 29180, by email to info@chamberfc.com, or with their online form, which can found at facebook.com/FairfieldCCOC.
