FLORENCE – Playing for an injured Carrington Carter, quarterback Josiah Henryhand went 17-for-21 for 176 yards and a touchdown, but the Westwood team went down 17-7 at West Florence Friday night.
Angelo Rios caught five passes for 73 yards. He also had 13 carries for 24 yards. Jayden Boyd had seven receptions for 39 yards.
Westwood (6-3, 3-2 Region 5-5A) closes out the regular season with a home game against Sumter (8-1, 5-0). The Gamecocks (8-1, 5-0) clinched the region last week with a 36-29 win over Ridge View (6-3, 4-1).
