WINNSBORO – Heading into their Halloween regular season finale last Friday, Richard Winn held a 9-game win streak over Wardlaw Academy, most recently defeating them 35-34 on Sept. 9. This time, the Patriots overpowered the Eagles with a 50-28 win to shatter the streak and move ahead of Richard Winn in region standings.

The loss drops Richard Winn to 4-6 on the season, earning them a three-seed in the SCISA 8-man playoffs. They Eagles travel to Holly Hill tomorrow for a Round One 7:30 kickoff. Holly Hill is 10-0 on the season.

The winner will advance to face Laurens Academy, which earned a first-round bye in the six-team bracket. That game will determine who moves on to the championship on Nov. 21.
