New Director –

Fairfield County welcomed James H. Hill this week as their new Animal Services Director. Hill comes to Fairfield County with over 12 years of experience in the Animal Control field. Six of those years have been as a field officer for the counties of Richland and Lexington.  Most recently, he has been the Assistant Director for Richland County Animal Care. Hill has completed the Animal Control Professional Development program through Midlands Technical College and has received national certification as an animal control professional through the National Animal Control Association. He is a graduate of Lower Richland High School and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, Master of Science in Information Technology and a Master of Public Administration. He began work Monday.
