BLYTHWOOD – Two of five town council candidates will be elected to fill two open council sets on Tuesday, Nov. 4. According to state law, any person wishing to vote in this election must be a registered voter and reside in the incorporated town of Blythewood. Residents who live in the unincorporated area of 29016 are not eligible to vote in this election.
Candidates for the two town council seats are Trish Hovis, Rich McKenrick, Corey Mitchell, Ja’maal Mosely, and Marcus Taylor.
Early voting ends Friday, Oct. 31. Early votes can be cast at the Richland County Voter Registration and Elections office (for Richland County voters) and Fairfield County Voter Registration and Elections office (for Fairfield County voters who live in the town of Blythewood.)
