WINNSBORO – Fairfield Central senior Krishi Patel, center, was recognized at the Griffins’ basketball game last week for being named WACH Fox’s Scholar Athlete of the Year. A multi-sport athlete at Fairfield Central, Patel is a member of the Griffins’ football and soccer teams. The award is a part of WACH Fox’s Friday Night Rivals segment.
