Matthew Hutto (left) and his brother Parks took home first and second places, respectively, in their age groups at the SCJGA City Golf Tournament at Linrick Golf Club.
Matthew Hutto took first place in the 8-9 year old group in the S.C. Jr. Golf Association City Golf Tournament held July 30-31 at Linrick Golf Club.
His brother, Parks Hutto, took second place in the 10-12 year old group. Matthew is a rising fourth grader at Langford Elementary, and Parks will be a sixth grader at Muller Road Middle this school year.
Since both Matthew and Parks are ranked in the top two in their age groups for points in the summer tournaments for the SCJGA Columbia Chapter, they will represent the Midlands in the SCJGA State Tournament in Anderson, Aug. 25 and 26.
Parks and Matthew are the sons of Ginny and John Hutto of Blythewood.
