Fairfield Central High School provided an 8.5 Transition Kickoff Camp for all rising ninth-grade students July 9 and 10. The camp was designed to help rising ninth graders ease the daunting challenge of transitioning to high school. Students familiarized themselves with Fairfield Central’s expectations and participated in sessions geared toward success. They attended workshops on time management, effective communication skills, public speaking, study skills, team building and graduation requirements, and toured the campus.
