WINNSBORO: A memorial service and inurnment for Hershel Leon gray, age 82, will be held in January in Tennessee.
Mr. Gray died in his home on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012. He was the son of the late Charlie and Lana McDonald Gray. Mr. Gray was born in Lawrence County, Tenn. on May 2, 1930. He was an entrepreneur who owned multiple businesses and served as the President of United Industrial Workers for more than 30 years.
Mr. Gray is survived by two sons, David Hershel Gray and his wife Sharon of Winnsboro, Steven Neal Gray of Rogersville, Ala.; two brothers, Bruce Gray and Frank Gray; two sisters, Helen Shaw, Joyce Cleveland; grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mr. Gray was predeceased by three brothers, Satch Gray, Rayford Gray and Grayford Gray.
