RWA grandparents Tony and Beth Caulder share a laugh with 4-year-old granddaughter Brantley Caulder as they visit and admire Brantley’s work during Richard Winn’s Grandparents Day celebration on Sept. 9. Richard Winn Academy’s pre-kindergarten through sixth-grade students enjoyed celebrating Grandparents Day and spending special time with their grandparents. Grandparents were invited to attend school in the early morning or near the end of the school day to share some time with their grandchild(ren). Activities included dancing, singing, doing Smart Board activities, reading essays written by the students about their grandparents, completing a grandparent questionnaire and playing Bingo.
