Riverside Dominates State Swim Meet

COLUMBIA – While the Lady Bengals swim squad struggled at Saturday’s 4A state meet on the USC campus, the boys gutted out a 22nd overall finish. Riverside High School took the title in both boys’ and girls’ overall.

Boys

200 medley relay (15th) – Sean Bell, Josh Baker, David Foong, Garret Williams (1:46.27 – new school record)

200 IM –David Foong, 28th (2:11.32)

50 free – Garret Williams, 15th (22.81)

100 butterfly – David Foong, 15th (56.20)

100 back – Sean Bell, 23rd (59.23)

400 free relay (16th) – David Foong, Sean Bell, Josh Baker, Garret Williams (3:34.43 – new school record)
