Kelsi Cox (center), a senior at Blythewood High School, has been named as a National Merit Semifinalist. Kelsi, pictured with Sharlene Drakeford, Director of Guidance, and Keith Price, Principal, is the daughter of Kristoffer and Rebecca Cox of Columbia. She is a member of the National Honor Society and National Spanish Honor Society. Kelsi is also a member of the S.C. Philharmonic Youth Orchestra as a French horn player. She placed first for the state Level 5 National Spanish Exam and place fifth in the nation for the Level 4 National Italian Exam. Kelsi is also on the varsity swim team.
