BHS senior Mike Lantz competed in the elite seeded race at the Footlocker South Regional Nov. 30. This race brings together the best athletes in an 11 state region stretching from Texas to Virginia, with the top 10 athletes qualifying to compete in the national cross country championships.
Lantz finished 96th in a field of 318 runners. His time of 15 minutes and 54 seconds was the sixth highest finish by a South Carolina runner.
