PAGELAND – The Fairfield Central Griffins fell 4-3 to the Eagles of Central High School Friday, sending the Griffins into the lower bracket in District 4 in the Class 2A state tournament. The loss brings the Griffins back to Winnsboro Monday (May 5) for a 6 p.m. start against the winner of Friday’s Chesterfield-Columbia match.
