The Cobblestone Junior 10u tennis team won the USTA South Carolina Junior Team Tennis Championship for their age group last weekend during the three-day event at the Dr. Eddie Floyd Florence Tennis Center in Florence. Twenty-eight teams from all over the state competed in the event. The Cobblestone team now advances to the USTA Southern Junior Team Tennis Championship Tournament at the Cayce Tennis Facility in Lexington, Aug. 15-17. The team is coached by Brian Clary, head tennis pro at Cobblestone. Team members are, from left, Erin McCarley, Hannah Myers, Rachel Truitt, Clary, John Heath, John Alex Kivett and Chase Snook.
