Fairfield County School District bus driver Sean Woodard was recently named Bus Driver of the Year for the state by the South Carolina Association of Pupil Transportation (SCAPT). Woodard is the first Fairfield County School District driver to earn the award, according to Superintendent J.R. Green, who recognized Woodard at the School Board’s July 15 meeting.
“Mr. Woodard has been a bus driver with the Fairfield County School District (FCSD) for six years and is a very dependable, punctual and enthusiastic driver who is knowledgeable of his job duties,” FCSD Transportation Manager Danny Miller said. “He always goes above and beyond the call of duty and strives on a daily basis to maintain positive relationships with his supervisors, co-workers, students, parents, and administrator.”
