LEWISVILLE – The Richard Winn JV and varsity volleyball teams kept their early unblemished records intact with their second season victory over the Lewisville Lady Lions on Monday. The Lady Eagles varsity defeated LHS once again in three straight games, 25-12, 25-11 and 25-11, this time on Lewisville’s home court. RWA’s JV team won in two straight games.
In earlier action against Ben Lippen School on Aug. 21, both the Richard Winn JV and varsity teams met with success in defeating the Lady Falcons.
The Richard Winn squad face their first region opponent, Newberry Academy, on Thursday in RWA’s own “Eagle Nest.” Scores were not available at press time.
