Love Chevrolet sales consultant John Ivey, right, was on hand to demonstrate the features of the cars – quiet as electric golf carts, could accelerate from 0 to 50 between the Exxon and the traffic light at the IGA and roomy enough to load the kids or golf clubs in the back seat. “And one charge will take you 80 miles around town,” Ivey told The Voice. “It’s the new car,” he said, “and right now a $7,500 rebate is available.” The charging stations in downtown Blythewood are located at the Sharpe Shoppe Exxon, Holiday Inn Express and Comfort Inn.
