RALEIGH, N.C. – Emmaline Vinson Stewart Aull, 90, died Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014. She was born on Aug. 11, 1924 in Chester, S.C. to the late John Calvin Stewart and Emmaline Vinson Nicholson. She was predeceased by her husband Elbert H. Aull Jr., brothers John C. Stewart and Angus R.N. Stewart, sister Sara S. Oates and granddaughter Rebecca J. Simpson. She was married to Elbert Herman Aull Jr on June 10, 1948 in Woodward, S.C. Mrs. Aull was dedicated teacher and retired from Wake County Schools. She is survived by sons Elbert H. Aull III and his wife Dory of Hampton, Va.; Angus Stewart Aull and his wife Ginny of Zebulon, N.C.; daughter Emmaline Aull Simpson and her husband Jeffrey of Raleigh, N.C.; grandchildren Elbert H. Aull IV of Seattle, Wash.; Malia E. Ohlson and her husband Jonathan of Milford, N.H.; Angus S. Aull II and his wife Stephanie of Knightdale, N.C.; Jennifer L. Priddy and her husband Nathan of Wendell, N.C.; Emmaline S. Eble and her husband Matthew, of Bainbridge Island, Wash.;and four great grandchildren: Viktor Aull; Molly and Addison Priddy; and Abigail Ohlson. A memorial service was held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014 at the Raleigh Memorial Park Chapel on US 70 (Glenwood Ave.).
