WINNSBORO – Funeral services for Woodrow Evangle Knotts, age 54, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2015 at Winnsboro First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 691 Columbia Road, Winnsboro, S.C. 29180 with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Services will be conducted by Pastor Raymond Satterfield. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
Born in Winnsboro, Woodrow was the son of the late Woodrow Oliver and Birdie Warren Knotts. He served his county in the United States Navy receiving the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal among other Medals and Badges. He will be dearly missed by his family, canine companion, and many friends.
Mr. Knotts is survived by a loving family including his wife of nineteen years, Haide D. Knotts of the home; one son Josh Knotts of Jacksonville, Fla.; one daughter Tosha Knotts of Norman, Okla.; four sisters, Rae Knotts of Winnsboro, S.C., Linda Reynolds of Adams Run, S.C., Deanna Hewitt (Spencer) of Winnsboro, S.C., and Virginia Herron of Tallahassee, Fla.; and two grandchildren, Kayley and Kyla.
