WINNSBORO – Funeral services with Military Honors and Masonic Rights for L. Aubrey Haynes, 75, will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015 at Greenbrier United Methodist Church. The Rev. Athon Arant will conduct the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service in the church.
Mr. Haynes entered eternal rest on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015. Born in Fairfield County, he was the son of the late John Henry and Nell Ligon Haynes. He was a member of Greenbrier United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his two sons, Leland Aubrey (Dawn) Haynes Jr. of Columbia and Thomas Henry (Karen) Haynes of Elgin; and three grandchildren, Justin, Madison and Bauer Haynes.
In addition to his parents and wife, Martha Wood Haynes, Aubrey is predeceased by two brothers, John Henry Haynes Jr. and Herbert “Bubba” Haynes.
