COLUMBIA – Funeral services for James Lee Boney Jr., 58, will be held at 11 a.m. at The First Baptist Church of Ridgeway conducted by the Rev. Joe Parker. Burial will follow in Aimwell Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, Oct. 1, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Pope Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
Mr. Boney entered eternal rest on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2015. Born Feb. 15, 1957 in Fairfield County, he was the son of the late James Lee and Iley Corbett Boney Sr.
He is survived by his loving fiancé, Becky Black; two sons, James Lee (Jamie) Boney III and Kevin Eugene (Jill) Boney; one daughter, Sarah E. Black; one sister, Janice Webb; and four grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent in James’s memory to the Shriners Hospital for Children, P.O. Box 1525 Ranson, W.Va. 25438.
