Lady Griffins head coach Amelia Miller (right) and Griffin teammates congratulate Tanise Davis (center), who was the recipient of WLTX-TV’s Player of the Week Award on Jan. 20. Davis, a senior point guard for the Lady Griffins is a second-year captain averaging 15.1 points per game. She earned All-Region honors her last two seasons and was her team’s MVP last year. In the classroom, Davis is ranked 21st in the senior class at Fairfield Central where she currently has a 3.86 GPA.
