WINNSBORO (April 15, 2016) — Fairfield Central High School senior Tanise Davis put her name on the dotted line this week to play basketball for Converse College in Spartanburg. The daughter of Tonya Brown, Davis has been a member of the Lady Griffins varsity squad since her eight-grade year. Throughout her career she has been named MVP and selected to All-Region and All-State teams, as well as earning a spot on two all-star teams, including for the North-South game. She also earned recognition as a WLTX Player of the Week this season. Davis averaged 14.8 points per game with 4.5 assists in her senior season.
“I have no doubt that with her ability and leadership skills she will be successful at the next level,” head coach Amelia Miller said.
