A Blythewood rose garden is one of three area gardens chosen to be on the Mother’s Day Rose Garden Tour sponsored by the Columbia Rose Society. The tour is set for Saturday, May 7 and will feature Delores Snellgrove’s Eagles Glen rose garden in Blythewood along with two gardens in the Spring Valley subdivision. Above, Snellgrove, a Master Rosarian, shows off some of the award-winning roses tour guests will find in her backyard including a large peach-colored Jema rose. The three gardens will be open from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance (from Snellgrove) or $15 at any of the three garden gates on the day of the event. Ages 17 and under are free.
