Teacher of the Year –

During Tuesday night’s Town Council meeting, Blythewood Mayor J. Michael Ross read a proclamation honoring Kaitlin Manchester who was recently named Richland Two 2015-16 Teacher of the Year. Manchester has taught seventh- and eighth-grade English Language Arts (ELA) for the last two years at Muller Road Middle School in Blythewood. Manchester also currently serves as the ELA department head. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in adolescent/young adult integrated language arts education from Cedarville University and a Master of Arts in English from Wake Forest University.
