Ann Stewart Stewart

WINNSBORO – Ann Nolan Stewart Stewart, 85, passed from time to eternity on July 27, 2016 at her home.  She was born on June 16, 1931 to Annie Craig Wilson Stewart and Grover Cleveland Stewart in Belmont, N.C.  After graduating from Belmont High School she attended Winthrop College, Queens College and Abbot Art School.  She went on to be employed by Bell South as an artist in their advertising department.

She was a member of Sion Presbyterian Church where she held the office of Elder, Deacon and President of Women of the Church. She also served the presbytery as the white cross chairman.  She was a member and office holder in the Anemone Garden Club and her most recent place of employment was the Fairfield County Voter Registration Office.

She is survived by her daughters Miriam Stewart Hutto and Sara A. Stewart.  Also surviving is her son-in-law Andy Hutto and three grandchildren, Gus, Calvin and Sara Ann Hutto.

In addition to her husband of 54 years, Angus Rose Nicholson Stewart, she is predeceased by her brother Wilson and sister Miriam.

A memorial service will be held at Sion Presbyterian Church on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 2 p.m. with visitation following in the church fellowship hall.

Ann was a devoted mother and wife and enjoyed sharing her talents as an artist, seamstress, and baker.
