Annie McDaniel
WINNSBORO (Dec. 15, 2016) – Annie E. McDaniel, the District 4 representative on the Fairfield County School Board, was elected to the S.C. School Boards Association (SCSBA) Board of Directors as the Region 12 Director for a four-year term during the association’s annual business meeting held on Dec. 3. Region 12 represents Cherokee, Chester, Fairfield, Laurens 55, Laurens 56, Newberry and Union counties.
McDaniel has been a member of the Fairfield Board for 16 years. During her tenure, she has held the positions of chairwoman, secretary, Finance Committee chairwoman and delegate to the SCSBA Delegate Assembly. She is a Level 6 board member in the Boardmanship Institute.
She has completed University of S.C. post graduate School Finance Doctorate level courses. She has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a BS Degree in Business Administration. She is a S.C. Certified Government Finance Officer.
She is currently the S.C. Station Social Action chair for Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., current Treasurer of the S.C. Caucus of Black School Board Members, Past President of the S.C. Association of Government Finance Officers Association and Past State Coordinator for Delta Sigma Theta.
