In Biblical terms, it was a night to behold, complete with a multitude. The only thing missing was the loaves and fishes.

The VillageChurch outdid itself Friday night with its annual Balloons and Tunes event in Doko Park. There were 10 food trucks, 3 game tents, 2 bounce houses, a big slide, 2 balloon tents, a popcorn machine, a great Christian rock band, perfect weather, a family-friendly tethered balloon ride that took event guests 100 feet into the air and an estimated 3,000 people to enjoy it all.
Everything but the food trucks was free.
“We just wanted everyone to enjoy themselves in this great park,” Pastor Erik Estep said. “Beki Miller and Jonathan Ruth are the ones who organized everything. The venue was great. It’s our intention to do some more events out there if it’s available.”
The VillageChurch is located at 574 Rimer Pond Road.
