WINNSBORO – Hundreds of costumed trick-or-treaters – from babies to entire families – poured into S. Congress Street Saturday evening to celebrate Winnsboro’s fourth annual Pumpkin Fest. With crisp fall weather, games and goodies, it was a fun event for the ghouls.
A DJ set up stage in the middle of Congress Street, and the cupcake walk was busy all evening. Fairfield Disabilities and Special Needs won first place in the Scarecrow Stroll contest and the Robles family won for best costumes. At the same time, families were participating in the Woman’s Club Ghost Walk through scary historic Winnsboro. It was a night of fun for many little ghosts and goblins.
