COLUMBIA – The Blythewood Bengal Cheer team started off the season winning the Viking Invitational at Spring Valley High School in early October. Last weekend they finished seventh in the state at the 5A State Championship competition. The Bengals entered the competition seeded in the 10th position, looking to improve on their school-best 9th place finish a year ago.
