RIDGEWAY – Funeral services for Jerry Anthony Dove, 66, will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Ridgeway Ward, with burial to follow in Centerville Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Ridgeway Ward, Missionary Fund.
Mr. Dove passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018. Born in Winnsboro, he was a son of the late Johnnie Richard and Ruby Elma Branham Dove. Mr. Dove was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Ridgeway Ward and an honorary member of the VFW. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing softball.
Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Sandra Reynolds Dove; daughters, Wendy Post of Lugoff, Tonya Spradley (Tim) of Lugoff; son, Jerry Anthony Dove II of Lugoff; sisters, Elaine Crossland Smith of Ridgeway, Patricia Peake of Elgin; 10 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild on the way. He was predeceased by a grandson, Sullivan Spradley; and a son-in-law, Mike Post.
